ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to discuss the curative effect of applying "capsule-reserved normal saline bag and self-made hemi-spherical cushion oppression" for treating giant omphaloceles. Twelve patients with giant omphaloceles who were admitted to our hospital between January 2008 and June 2016 were selected for treatment as follows: a capsule-reserved normal saline bag was used to promote the gradual return of the abdominal contents into the abdominal cavity in phase I, and a self-made hemi-spherical cushion was used for compression combined with a local dressing change in phase II to treat the giant omphaloceles without surgical treatment. All 12 patients in this group were cured, and after follow-up visits for >10 months, they had no abdominal infections, wound disruption, intestinal obstruction, or other complications, and their growth was normal. Two patients had abdominal hernias, and they recovered after herniorrhaphies. Giant omphaloceles in newborns were treated in stages, and in phase II, non-surgical treatment was applied, which was easily performed with a smaller wound, low cost, an obvious curative effect, and higher safety and effectiveness.

Objective To study the effect of behavior-changes-in-stages theory on defecation function of lower rectal cancer after sphincter-preserving operation. Methods 84 patients with lower rectal cancer undergoing sphincter-preserving operation from June 2013 to June 2016 were divided into control group (n=42)and intervention group (n=42)according to their willingness to care.The control group implemented routine nursing,mainly for diet intervention,wound care,bowel function training and in the intervention group the behavior-changes-in-stages theory was used.Comparisons were done between the groups in terms of the anus incontinence defecation function and quality of life for 6 months after operation. Result The degrees of anus incontinence and defecation function in the intervention group were both significantly better than those in the control group 6 months after the operation (P<0.05). Conclusions The behavior-change-in-stages plays a significant role in the postoperative rehabilitation.It can significantly reduce the anus incontinence, better the bowel function,improve the quality of life and promote rehabilitation.

Objective To explore the effect of early stage of comprehensive lung rehabilitation on cervical spinal cord injury in patients with mechanical ventilation.Methods The patients with cervical spinal cord injury admitted from January to December 2015 were selected as the control group which was treated with routine nursing measures.The patients with cervical spinal cord injury admitted from January to December 2016 were selected as the treatment group,which received early stage lung rehabilitation measures.We compared two groups of patients in the using time of breathing machine,the total length of hospital stay and pulmonary infection rate.Results The duration of mechanical ventilation and hospitalization days in the control group were(13.98±11.11),(25.10±16.98)d,which were higher than those in treatment group[(7.23±4.94),(16.26±6.41)d](P<0.05).The infection rates of control group and treatment group were 76.19％and 52.38％respectively,and the difference was significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the early stages comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation measures for mechanical ventilation in patients with cervical spinal injury can shorten the breathing machine use time and the total hospitalization days,and reduce pulmonary infection rate.

Objective] To explore the clinical experience of Professor Zhang Juan on Elderly Diabetic Constipation and hope to provide a new perspective for future study about Chinese medicine treatment of Diabetes Mellitus(DM).[Method] Reviewed 103 cases from Sep. 2014 till now who were older than 65,diagnosed with DM and had constipation as primary symptom. Analyzed and summarized the syndrome differentiation and treatment of the cases. [Results] According to the etiology and pathogenesis of Elderly Diabetic Constipation ,Professor Zhang deems that its pathogenesis takes place in two stages:one is spleen deficiency,the other is kidney deficiency and proposes the therapy of“treat the middle-jiao if others are not working”,“nourish the natal qi with post-natal qi”,“combine disease,syndrome and symptom”and“treat in stages”.[Conclusion] The treatment on Elderly Diabetic Constipation raised by Professor Zhang is effective and her clinical experience has important clinical value .

[Objective]To summarize Pro.YangJiguo’s experience in using PingchuanⅠ for treating three periods of asthma in children .[Method] Accord-ing to the analysis of three clinical features and diagnosis and treatment of pediatric asthma, namely attack period(not the control period), duration peri-od(part of the control period) and remission period(control period), it concluded Professor Yang Jiguo's how to use PingchuanⅠto treat pediatric asthma. [Result] For pediatric asthma episodes in smooth wheezing, we join the medicine of freeing lung to relieve exterior syndrome on the basis of Pingchuan I;in duration, join yupinfeng for nourishing Qi and supporting essence; in remission, join the dragon negundo ginseng and astragalus mixture to improve children's physique, and improve the body's immune function. [Conclusion] Pingchuan I for treating three periods of asthma in children has a significant effect, unique advantages and is worth promotion.
